• First Steps to Understanding my Neurodivergent Child with SAL – 3-week course.

  A 3-week course designed to help parents/carers understand Neurodiversity within children. It helps to develop an understanding of terms, key features, and behaviour of neurodiversity. This course also covers strategies on how to support Neuro-diverse children through the development of supportive techniques and language.

   

  This will be an extremely popular course - book early to secure your place.

• First Steps to Understanding Masking in Your Child Workshop with SAL.

• Positive Parenting Course - April 23rd

  Do you feel you are always nagging, and no one is listening? Is there more anger and tears, than fun and laughter? Home Start will be holding a Positive Parenting workshop based on the Parenting Puzzle 10-week programme. This workshop introduces positive strategies to guide and teach children, using praise, encouragement, and empathy, to build self-esteem, confidence, and cooperation. This workshop helps you deal with the challenges of parenting so that you can have a calmer, happier life.
