COVID-19 Pandemic

Following Government guidance Ewell Family Centre is slowly beginning to resume services, ensuring safety guidelines are adhered to. Please check the calendar under News for further details or call the centre 020 8337 7310 Option 1.

Staff are still supporting families 1:1 in their home, the family centre, in the community, by phone, email and video calling, and in some cases dropping off resources following social distancing guidelines.

The types of support outreach workers can offer families are:

  • access to resources
  • helping families in need to access food vouchers or food parcels
  • delivering hygiene packs for families in isolation
  • access to Healthy Start vitamins for those in receipt of vouchers
  • parenting support in difficult times
  • supporting parental relationships, particularly managing conflict caused by isolation
  • signposting to online parenting and family sessions
  • offering advice and support on well-being during isolation
