Support from Ewell Family Centre

The borough of Epsom and Ewell has 2 family centres to offer information, advice and support to families with children aged 0-11 years living in Epsom and Ewell, especially those identified as needing extra support.

Ewell Family Centre has 2 Outreach Workers who can provide support in the family home as well as at local community venues or the centre itself, whichever best suits the needs of the family at the time.

The Family Centre will provide 1:1 family support for families where challenging family circumstances are having a significant impact on the health, development or well-being of the children living in the home.

Professionals and practitioners working with families, for example GP's, Health Visitor's, schools, early years setting's and other's, will request 1:1 support for the family through the Early Help Hub. The family will then be contacted by the family centre when parent's have agreed that they would welcome the extra help.

Ewell Family Centre can also be accessed directly by families who need some extra support. Please call 020 8337 7310 Option 1.

Level 2 support can be accessed by completing the 'Introduction to Ewell Family Centre form'

The Early Help Hub

The Early Help Hub co-ordinates the different types of support available to families as soon as a problem arises.

The Hub will:

  •  triage the request for support
  • allocate it to the most appropriate service
  • inform the person making the request of the outcome of the request

If a Surrey County Council Service is not appropriate, the hub will endeavour to suggest alternativesI
